Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal is the most developed, busy and populated place in Nepal. Kathmandu is also known as Kantipur is believed to have around 130 monuments, pilgrimages, gumbas and temples for both Hindus and Buddhists. The city is very famous among the tourists due to its unique and rich culture and architecture. It is believed that the Kathmandu valley was once a lake. Then the god named Manjushree with his sword cut open the gorge at a place called Chobhar and drained away all the waters to establish a human habitat. Kathmandu holds 4 UNESCO world heritage sites, namely, Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Bouddhanath. This specialized tour includes sightseeing of these four world heritage sites.

Chitawan is the home to Nepal’s first national park – Chitawan National Park. This park presents a balanced and rich ecosystem that includes mammals, birds, reptiles and different water species. There are around 600 plant species which covers about the 70% of the national park. The typical vegetation of this region is Himalayan subtropical broadleaf forests with predominantly sal (Shorea Robusta) trees.The Park is home to at least 43 species of mammals. The highlight of this park is one horned rhinoceros and Royal Bengal tigers. It provides home to lots of other animals like deer, leopards, wild boars, sloth bears, honey badgers, Bengal foxes, hyenas, wild dogs, jungle cats, golden jackals, crab eating mongoose, smooth-coated otters, and spotted linsangs, fishing cats, yellow-throated martens and other several species of monkeys. It also provides shelter to around 49 amphibians and reptiles including different types of snakes and pythons as well as other endangered amphibians like Gharial and Mugger crocodiles.This park is famous for bird watching as there are around 543 recorded species of birds. Every year, many migratory birds like Indian pina, parakeets and paradise flycatcher arrives during the summer, while winter birds like pintails, cormorants, greater spotted eagle, and other migratory birds from Serbia arrives here too. Many other species of birds like woodpeckers, spotted eagle, jungle fowl, cuckoos, peafowl, storks, kingfishers are also found here. The main attractions of the park are Jungle safari, Elephant Riding, Jeep safari, hiking, bird watching, boating, cycling and Tharu Cultural Show.

Pokhara, the second largest city of Nepal, lies approximately 200 km west of Kathmandu. It is also called as the tourism capital of Nepal. Three out of top ten world’s highest mountains, namely, Annapurna I, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu are within 30 miles of the city. Mt. Fishtail also known as Machhapuchhre is the closest to the city. Therefore, the city is also a hub for the trekkers. The city consists of many temples and Gumbas like Barahi Temple, World Peace Pagoda, Guheshwori, Bhadrakali, Taal Barahi, Bindhyabasini, Sitaldevi, Matepani Gumba and many more. Many Taal (lakes) like Fewa Taal, Rupa taal, Begnas Taal, Neurani taal and others as well as Seti Khola and Patale Chhango also called Davis Fall are the major tourist spot in the city. Many caves (Guphas in Nepali) are hidden under the city of Pokhara. This city is famous for ten mystical caves. Some of the famous caves are The Mahendra Gupha, Chamero Gupha also known as Bat’s cave and The Gupteshwor Mahadev Gupha. You can also enjoy Paragliding in Pokhara

Lumbini is the holiest and spiritual site for the Buddhist where Lord Buddha was born. It is located at the southern part of the country bordering India. The main attraction at Lumbini is archaeologically proven art and architecture with spiritual belief from Veidik Period. There are 42 monasteries which belong to different countries. Maya Devi Temple, Holy Pond, Holy Garden, World Peace Stupa and Ashoka Pillar are the main attractions of Lumbini.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu. Airport pickup and drop at the hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing

After the breakfast, you will proceed with your tour guide to see cultural, religious and world heritages sites like Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath, Bouddha Stupa and the Patan Darbar Square.

Day 03: Kathmandu Sightseeing

Today you will see more of the world heritage sites that are located in the Kathmandu valley. Our tour guide will take you to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Changu Narayan and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Return around 5 pm and prepare yourself for the trip to Chitawan next day.

Day 04: Kathmandu to Chitawan

Drive time: 5-6 Hours

Be ready early in the morning, then you will proceed to the Chitawan in a car. During the ride you can see many high hills, narrow ridges, plenty of open pasture, traditional lifestyles of peoples and incredible view of the various river banks. 

After reaching Chitawan you will be taken to the Tharu Village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu Village where you will learn more about the life and lifestyle of the Tharus. Then you will be taken to the Elephant breeding center. You can also enjoy the panoramic sunset view from the Rapti river bank. Then after the dinner you will be taken to the cultural program where the main attraction is Tharu Stick Dance. 

Day 05: Chitawan Sightseeing

After the breakfast, you will be heading to the Rapti River for the Canoe Ride along with the bird watching and Jungle walk where you can have an excellent opportunity to see the wild animals, small mammals, birds and have the wild sightseeing, accompanied by our experienced naturalists and wildlife tracker. After the lunch, you will be taken for an hour of Elephant Ride in the Chitawan National Park. It gives you an excellent opportunity to get the lifetime experience on the Elephant Back and to see the Wildlife of The Chitawan National Park. In the evening, you can enjoy the sunset view from the hotel or on the bank of Rapti River. 

Day 06: Chitawan to Lumbini

After the breakfast, you can enjoy the bird watching in the hotel compound. Then you will proceed to Lumbini in the car. 

Day 07: Lumbini Sightseeing

Day 08: Lumbini to Pokhara

After the breakfast you will be heading our final destination of the tour which is Pokhara. 

Day 09: Pokhara Sightseeing

After the breakfast, you will proceed for sightseeing in the Pokhara valley. Pokhara is the home to so many lakes like Fewa Lake, Begnas Lake, Rupa Lake as well as many temples like Barahi temple, Guheshwori, Taal Barahi and many others. You can visit many caves as well like Mahendra Gupha, Chamero Gupha and Gupteshwor Mahadev Gupha. 

Day 10: Pokhara to Kathmandu including Rafting

Today you will return to Kathmandu from Pokhara but along the way we will take you to the rafting in Trishuli River. After the rafting is done, you will reach Kathmandu by evening. 

Day 11: Tour is over, transfer to the international airport at the Kathmandu for your final departure.
