Our Bhutan cultural tour takes us over the cultural aspect of Bhutan at shortest time possible. The tour starts after arriving at Paro International Airport. The journey includes sightseeing around Paro then to Thimpu.  Thimpu is the unique capital city which blends tradition with modern touch. The tour moves furthermore towards Punakha, Haa and finally ending with a hike to the very famous Taktsang Monastery also known as Tiger’s Nest.

Throughout the tour, you will visit number of amazing hikes, tour many Kingdom’s dzongs (fortresses) and countless monasteries.

Day 01: Paro Arrival drive to Thimpu                          

You will be welcomed by our guide who will be waiting for your arrival at Paro airport. After that we will take you to one of the nearby hotel for refreshment. If you reach early and if we have time, you will visit Paro Ta Dzong which is the National Museum of Bhutan.  Paro Dzong is used for administrative purpose and monastic bodies.

In the evening we will drive to Thimpu, capital city of Bhutan. Dinner and night at Thimpu.  

Day 02: Thimpu Sightseeing

After breakfast we will visit Memorial Chorten which was built by Her Majesty Ashi Phuntsho Choden in memory of her late son His Majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuk - the father of modern Bhutan, the third king of Bhutan. Kuenselphodrang where you can see largest Buddha statue in Bhutan which is about 169 feet tall. Folk and Textile Heritage Museums, a fascinating testimony of Bhutan's living traditions, National Library, Indigenous hospital, The Painting School, where young monks learn the art of painting Buddhist Thangka, Handicraft emporium, Changangkha Lhakhang (Temple).

In the afternoon we will drive toSangaygangfrom where we can see the view of whole Thimpu town. And on the way we can visit mini zoo where you can see national animal of Bhutan. And then we will visit Trashichho Dzong, the beautiful fortress which houses most of the Government's office and King's Throne. It is also the summer residence of Je Khenpo, the Chief Abbot. Dinner and night at Thimpu in Hotel.

Day 03: Thimpu   to Punakha                                                  

After breakfast we will drive to Punakha which is about 4 hours drive from Thimpu. On the way you will stop at Dochula (3150m) where you can see 108 Druk Wangyel Chorten. If you wish we can stop for tea and snacks as there is avine madman for his philosophy, "Salvation through sex". He subdued the demons with his "Magical Thunder bolt". When we reach to Punakha we will visit Punakha Dzong built on the confluence of Phochu (Male River) and Mochu (Female River). Today it is the winter residence of the Je-Khenpho the chief abbot and also serves as the administration center of the Punakha district. Overnight at Punakha.

Day 04: Punakha to Haa       

After breakfast we will drive towards Thimpu from the same way that we drove the day before. We will have lunch at Thimpu and continue to drive towards Haa. Evening stroll and overnight at Haa.

Day 05: Haa to Paro    

After breakfast, we will visit Lhakhang Karpo, the "Temple of the White Dove", a Monastery believed to have been built in the 8th century by the Tibetan King, Songtsen Gampo, after he sent two doves (one black and one white) to find a sacred place to build a monastery. Another legend tells how the local nomads erected the temples in a single day hence the name of the valley, Haa, meaning 'sudden'. The Lhakhang Karpo houses around 120 monks and is one of the oldest buildings in Bhutan. Visit the Haa Dzong situated in the centre of the valley. We will have lunch then drive to Paro. The 2 hours winding road from Haa to Paro ascends through pastureland past grazing yaks before reaching the 3,900 metres Chele La Pass (left) one of the Highest Road Passes in Bhutan. From here hiking trails lead up for 45 minutes to Kila Goemba, a nunnery, established as a meditation site in the 9th century and reputedly the oldest nunnery in Bhutan. The hike to the nunnery is truly rewarding with a superb view of the Himalayan Mountains and Paro Valley. Driving down into Paro Valley, the scenery transforms from sub-alpine pasture brilliant with wildflowers, to lush forests of blue pine, cypress, larch, fir and rhododendron. Day 06: Hike to Taktshang  

After early breakfast we will hike to Paro Taktsang which is one of the most popular Monastery visited by the tourist. It was first built in 1692, around the Taktsang Senge Samdup, a cave where Guru Padmasambhava is said to have meditated for three months in the 8th century. It is believed that Guru Rinpoche (Guru Padmasambhava) flew to this location from Khenpajong, Tibet on the back of a tigress and subdued a demon. He then performed meditation in one of the caves here and emerged in eight incarnated forms (manifestations) and blessed the place. Subsequently, the place came to be known as the "Tiger's Nest". Guru Padmasambhava is known for introducing Buddhism to Bhutan. Today, Paro Taktsang is the best known of the thirteen caves in which he meditated.

In the afternoon we will visit Drugyel Dzong; fortress which was built to commemorate a victory over Tibetan and Kyichu Lhakhangone of the oldest Temple in Bhutan.

In the evening stroll in Paro town and overnight at Paro.

Day 07: Paro Airport and Departure 

After breakfast we will drive to Paro International airport for your flight to next destination
